I got a letter from one of my best friends the other day (getting letters in the mail feels SO old school, but SO fun).
She wrote and told me about her new friends down there, the village Serenje, the work andnmeetings she's holding, that the villains laugh at her when she carries around her puppy Tobie in a chitenga-blanket that women usually carry their babies in-and that she and some of her friends pulls out their sleeping madrasses at night and sleep underneath the African skies.
She's finally doing what she always wanted to do...to help.
